Opportunities for Students
Radiant Care partners with educational institutions to provide hands-on learning opportunities for students in various disciplines. Through partnerships, Radiant Care hosts a Living Classroom at each of our sites, in which PSW students receive hands-on learning experiences and real-world experience through placements. Radiant Care’s campus of care offers placement opportunities that fulfill both long-term care and community placement requirements of the PSW program. In addition to our Living Classrooms, Radiant Care works with local educational partners to regularly host placement students, consolidation students, summer students, and co-op students in our homes.
Living Classrooms
Through partnerships, Radiant Care hosts a Living Classroom at each of our sites, in which PSW students receive hands-on learning experiences and real-world experience through placements in long-term care and/or supportive housing.
Our Tabor Manor Living Classroom is funded by the Government of Ontario and led by the Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging (RIA) through the Ontario Centres for Learning, Research and Innovation in Long-Term Care (Ontario CLRI), in partnership with the Ontario Association of Adult and Continuing Education School Board Administrators (CESBA).
