Radiant Care recently hosted Coffee Breaks to raise funds for the Alzheimer Society of Niagara.
Radiant Care recently hosted Coffee Breaks at both Pleasant Manor and Tabor Manor to raise funds for the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region.
The Alzheimer Society has been providing support, resources and education for over 39 years to individuals living with dementia, their care partners, formal caregivers and the Niagara public at large. Niagara Region has one of the largest senior populations per capita in Canada with over 11,750 people experiencing some form of dementia.
On May 23, participants enjoyed the beautiful sunshine while supporting the Tabor Manor Coffee Break. They walked to show their support, and then enjoyed delicious baked goods and and coffee! On May 29, participants at the Pleasant Manor Coffee Break braved chilly weather for their walk, but warmed up with hot coffee and timbits courtesy of the Pleasant Manor Ladies Auxiliary. A total of $1,093.05 was raised through these events!
A special thank you to everyone who participated in and donated to this worthy cause! Your generosity is what gives the Alzheimer Society the resources and support they need to make a difference.
