Marble Slab Creamery August 24, 2022

Courtesy of the Radiant Care Foundation, residents, tenants, and staff at both Pleasant Manor and Tabor Manor enjoyed delicious ice-cream treats from the Marble Slab Creamery!

On August 17th, residents, tenants, and staff at Pleasant Manor enjoyed a special treat. Along with the beautiful sunshine, everyone was thrilled to get out, to see each other, and to enjoy a delicious ice-cream sundae with their favourite toppings from the Marble Slab Creamery mobile trailer.

On August 23rd, our Tabor Manor residents, tenants, and staff were blessed with a beautiful sunny day as well! They were very happy to see everyone and definitely enjoyed the ice-cream!

Flavours included chocolate swiss, vanilla, cotton candy, strawberry, cheesecake, peanut butter, and vegan (coconut milk). Toppings included cookie dough, brownies, peanuts, oreo cookies, rainbow sprinkles, mini marshmallows, gummy bears, graham cracker crumbs, pineapples, and raspberries. A favourite combo was cheesecake ice-cream with raspberries and graham cracker crumbs.

Everyone was so grateful for the opportunity to visit with their friends and enjoy some ice cream, and many expressed their appreciation. It was wonderful to see so many smiles as we continue to deal with the challenges of the ongoing pandemic.
