On the first day of Autumn, September 22, 2020, our Tabor Manor halls & rooms were filled with the sights, smells, and treats of our Fall Farmer’s Market.

On the first day of Autumn, September 22, 2020, our Tabor Manor halls & rooms were filled with the sights, smells, and treats of our Fall Farmer’s Market. In a year of creativity and out-side-the-box thinking our staff team pulled out all the stops to bring a travelling Farmer’s Market to our Tabor Manor Residents. The event format looked a little different this year. Usually everyone drops into the “market” in the Great Room, but this year the market came directly to residents! This Farmer’s Market format ensured that every resident had the opportunity to enjoy the harvest in the comfort of their own room or lounge area.

Autumn is a favourite season for many of our residents who spent their lives planting, cultivating, and growing the amazing Niagara produce that we all enjoy every fall. As we enjoyed the flavourful sampling of local fruit, vegetable harvest, and other tasty treats, the residents reminisced about farming days past.
