We have received a number of donations of flowers to brighten up each of our homes and bring hope and joy to our residents and tenants! It really lets us know that spring has sprung! A plant is being given to each resident and tenant living on site thanks to the Heinrichs family, Hunter Road Greenhouses Ltd., Niagara Falls Horticultural Society, Orchard Park Growers, VanNoort Flower Studio, The Watering Can Flower Market, and other local greenhouses/growers!
We are receiving another donation of flowers today from George de Groot Laser Grading & Excavating. They are donating flowers for our Pleasant Manor seniors AND our staff.
We are feeling so blessed to be a recipient of the #Flowers4Heroes Challenge. This challenge was created by thoughtful people in many communities to thank our front-line workers for the amazing work they are doing at this time. We want to recognize the impact these individuals are making in our local community and spread some happiness despite the current challenges. #Flowers4heroes will create an opportunity for local growers to use their flowers or plants for a purpose instead of them being thrown away due to these challenging times!
