Serving Seniors with Excellence, Love and Dignity.
Radiant Care is a faith-based, charitable not-for-profit organization offering a full continuum of seniors housing and care at two sites in the Niagara Region.
The impact of Radiant Care’s Human Resources Department is felt most directly in our homes through the provision of an adequate supply of appropriately trained staff and volunteers, to meet high expectations of care and support expressed by our residents and tenants and regulatory compliance by government ministries.
To assist with our recruitment efforts, Radiant Care has developed academic partnerships with local high schools, private and public colleges, and universities.
One exciting and innovative way Radiant Care impacts its community is through the “Living Classroom”, established in Tabor Manor’s old Long-Term Care home that replicates clinical spaces for PSW’s to train and to learn their craft to take to their workplaces.
With the advent of Pleasant Manor’s new 160- bed Long-Term Care home, there will be future job opportunities in 2025 for over 250 new employees.
Primary efforts in our Volunteer Services program involved rebuilding and growing the supply of formal volunteers serving in activities, including Bingo, Dining Room Servers, Tuck Shop, Welcome Desks, and Visitations.
