Alzheimer Society Fundraiser June 3, 2025

Radiant Care once again supported the Niagara Regional Alzheimer Society through coffee breaks and walking fundraisers!

Radiant Care once again hosted coffee breaks and walks to raise funds for the Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region. The Alzheimer Society has been providing support, resources, and education for over 39 years to persons living with dementia, their care partners, formal caregivers, and the Niagara public at large to ensure the well-being of all involved. They work towards improving the quality of life to help individuals living with dementia as well as their caregivers better understand dementia and plan for the future. The Niagara Region has one of the largest senior populations per capita in Canada with approximately 12,097 people experiencing dementia.

On May 28, despite the cool, cloudy weather, Pleasant Manor participants walked and rolled to show their support, and they enjoyed hot coffee and Timbits afterward. On May 29, participants at Tabor Manor also braved a cool, cloudy day followed by coffee and delicious home-baked goods. Thank you to Stone Road Tim Hortons and Scott Street Tim Hortons for their donation of coffee and Timbits!

We are thrilled to report that a total of $1,112 was raised through these events!
