Radiant Care Pleasant Manor is redeveloping its current 41-bed Long-Term Care home into a brand new 160-bed Long-Term Care home, projected to open in Fall 2025.

Pleasant Manor Long-Term Care Redevelopment Project
Pleasant Manor is redeveloping its current 41-bed Long-Term Care home into a brand new 160-bed Long-Term Care home, projected to open in Fall 2025. The new home is located on the north-east corner of our Pleasant Manor property and will be 3 storeys high with 5 resident home areas, each serving 32 residents. Each resident home area is further divided into two pods of 16, creating a more intimate and private living and working environment for residents and staff.
To provide care and services in this new, larger home, we will be hiring approximately 250 new employees into full-time, part-time, or casual positions in a variety of roles, including at least 124 Personal Support Workers, 24 Registered Practical Nurses, 14 Dietary Aides, 14 Housekeeping & Laundry Aides, 12 Registered Nurses, 8 Therapeutic Recreationists, 3 Cooks, as well as others.
The new home has been designed to draw in an abundance of natural light, and Radiant Care has designed this building beyond minimum square footage requirements to provide more space for staff to leave the work area for breaks, to rejuvenate and refresh, including a special private courtyard for staff. We offer ample free parking and free membership to our on-site Fitness and Wellness Centre at our sister home, Tabor Manor in St. Catharines, and to the one proposed at Pleasant Manor. Radiant Care’s wages are above Niagara’s Living Wage of $20.90 per hour.
