Not only will new tenants find a home as members of our Radiant Care community, they will also have a beautiful updated living space
Radiant Care has begun the first phase of a multi-year apartment retrofit plan at both our Pleasant Manor and Tabor Manor sites. The plan includes renovation and updating of all units in Arborview, Creekview, and Oakview at Pleasant Manor, and all units in Evergreen and Mapleview at Tabor Manor. Current tenants will not be impacted by these changes. When a unit in these buildings is vacated, it will be renovated to have an open concept living area, and will receive a complete update including new appliances, flooring, kitchen cabinetry and countertops, light fixtures, walk-in shower, ceiling, updated finishes, and fresh paint. These refreshed units will provide a comfortable and stylish home for new tenants who join our Radiant Care community.
We have recently completed the retrofit of our first 3 units, which are all in Oakview, Pleasant Manor’s oldest building, at 44 years old. As units in other buildings are retrofitted, new photos, floor plans, and virtual tours will be added to our Live Here pages, so be sure to check back in a few months. We look forward to many more unit transformations over the next few years!
If you are interested in living in an apartment or wellness suite at Radiant Care Pleasant Manor or Radiant Care Tabor Manor, please complete and submit a Tenancy Application form to our respective Administration Office. Please apply early, as we currently have waiting lists for all of our apartments and wellness suites. The apartment retrofit project remains true to Radiant Care’s focus to provide modest and affordable housing within the community. Radiant Care also provides a limited rent rate reduction program in its Oakview Apartment at Pleasant Manor and rent-geared to income program in its Mapleview Apartment at Tabor Manor.
